COLLECTION CENTER

MOST Ministries collects eyeglasses and distributes them to people all over the world. They also provide local missionaries the opportunity to share the Gospel to those receiving the glasses. A collection box is located at the collection center.  Please help support this ministry which began in the Michigan District. For more information go to www.mostministries.org
Eyeglasses donations Thank you! Thanks to all of you for donations of glasses, sunglasses, and soft-sided glass cases! We recently mailed off 2 boxes with 235 pairs of glasses and numerous cases to MOST Ministries for their eyeglass clinics mission trips which have resumed following the lifting of travel restrictions. Each team takes 3,000 pairs when they go. We almost have another box to send them so please look in your house for unused glasses—prescription, readers or sunglasses and consider what they might do to help people do their jobs, their housework and reading. You can also buy $1.25 readers at Dollar Tree. Just make sure they have sturdy frames.  Soft-sided glass cases are also sent.

SOUTH TULSA COMMUNITY HOUSE assists over 700 clients in a month! The house uses between 1200 to 1300 plastic and paper bags (with handles) a month! So bring your extra bags to the food cart.  We are in great need of just about everything “canned,” as well as other proteins such as dried beans, peanut butter, meat based soups. We also need clean and labels removed prescription bottles which we use to distribute shampoo, body wash/soap and the like. They request that you not donate any Ramon noodles.  These items can be placed in the grocery cart at the south entrance.

PAPER & OTHER RECYCLING: You can recycle all your mail/newspapers, etc. as well as cardboard, metal cans and plastic containers (no glass items) in the collection bin in the southeast corner of the parking lot.

A shopping list of needs for The Coffee Bunker, South Tulsa Community House and Tulsa Saints is now available on the online directory.   Look in “Additional pages” and click on “Outreach”.  Please leave donations in the “Donation Station” in the West Hallway.
