DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A ROUSTABOUT??
The Roustabouts are a proud group of men who are seasoned citizens who love God and their church. No job is too small for them to take on. They can multi-task. They enjoy life, donuts, coffee, a good spirited debate and telling jokes. Anyone who can meet or exceed these tasks is welcome to join the Roustabouts on Friday mornings at 7 am. Some of the many tasks they do around the church include: inspecting the pews for trash and refilling pew cards and sharpening pencils; keeping the cement pond clean; replacing non-working light bulbs throughout the facility; seasonal installation of the nativity scene and Easter crosses with lights; cleaning of the courtyard, trim saw grass as needed; refilling the oil in altar candles; replacing batteries for mics and emptying trash in sacristy; consultants on all subject matter of electrical, HVAC, plumbing problems when needed; clean up downed tree limbs and general pruning of bushes; treat all weeds in facility landscape; perform maintenance duties suggested by ECC, office staff and Norm Zanter.
