BLOOD MOBILE will be at CTR on Sunday. WE NEED 5-7 MORE WALK ONS TO MEET OUR GOAL SO PLEASE INCLUDE SOME TIME IN YOUR MORNING TO WALK ON THE BLOOD MOBILE TO SAVE SOMEONE’S LIFE.

BOARD and LAY MINISTRY MEETING is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 23 at 6:30.
WIDOWS BIBLE CLASS is cancelled for Oct. 25.
ACOLYTES
are asked to sign up for one or more Sundays on the new schedule that is located near the library.

OUTREACH FOOD DRIVE for South Tulsa is Sunday! Please remember to bring non-perishable food and household items for those in our area who are not as fortunate as we are.

HARVEST HOUSE: Please bring clean/gently used, or brand new, clothing/household items to church during October. Especially needed at this time are items for the cold weather: sweaters, long pants, coats, blankets. Visit the table in the entry hallway area for more information and to drop off  your items.   

CLUB 3-4-5: On November 10th, Club 345 will be adventuring to the Oklahoma Aquarium to sleep under the sharks! This will be a night filled with tons of fun and learning about God’s under the sea creatures! The registration fee for this event will be $40 per student and will include snacks, behind the scenes access to exhibits, many fun and educational activities, a flashlight tour, movie time, a devotional experience, sleeping under the sharks and breakfast the next morning! If your child is planning on attending please submit your $40 and medical release papers (can be found in the Family and Children’s Ministry Office) to DCE Intern Myrthe by Sunday November 4th.

CRAFT CLASS FOR CTR-U will be Nov. 8 at 5:30. We will be making an assortment of 5 glass ornaments. Cost is $5 and limited to 10 participants. Sign up today!
 
THANKSGIVING BASKETS: Donations of canned food, non-perishable items and household products are needed no later than November 12 for this year’s baskets. Monetary donations to purchase gift cards so families can buy perishable items for their Thanksgiving meal can be placed in the offering plate with Thanksgiving basket on the memo line or dropped off at the collection table.
 
CRAFT FAIR: Join us for our 2nd Annual Craft Fair this December! We are still taking applications from vendors. If you or someone you know would like a table or display, please contact Nikki Witt or DCE Suzanne Watt for more information and pricing. Vendor fees will go to the ECC and CTR Youth Ministry as a fundraiser. SAVE THE DATE on your calendar and invite a friend to come shop!

 

All NEW Sunday Night Youth Schedule!

Beginning in September we will have youth events 2 Sundays a month from 3:00-5:00 PM! You will have the option of participating in a Confirmation class or a Small

Group Bible Study followed by a light snack and games. Other weeks we will have weekend retreats or special events.

Oct 29 Reformation Jubilee Service @ Immanuel (**Confirmation students may receive a discipleship credit if they attend the service & complete a 1 page essay.)

SOUTH TULSA COMMUNITY HOUSE:

We are in great need of just about everything “canned,” as well as other proteins such as dried beans, peanut butter, meat based soups. We also need clean and labels removed prescription bottles which we use to distribute shampoo, body wash/soap and the like. They request that you not donate any Ramon noodles.

 

COLLECTION CENTER:

Please remember to collect various ink cartridges and electronic equipment for the LWML; food and household supplies for South Tulsa Community House; various labels for ECC (check out the collection center for a list); various coupons for the military; eye glasses for MOST Ministries. All these items can be dropped off at the collection center at the south entrance.
