SPECIAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be held on Sunday, July 24, in the sanctuary following the late service. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the recommendations of the building committee on selection of an architecture firm and next steps in the building expansion process. All members are encouraged to attend. Child care will be provided.

A RECEPTION celebrating the years of service by Gloria Roettger as a staff member at CTR will be held during the Sunday school hour on July 31 in the fellowship hall. All members are invited to attend as we show our deep appreciation to Gloria for her 23 years as a staff member. A basket will be available for cards.

CTR-U HELP NEEDED: If you are interested in helping serve or clean up after the meals during CTR-U, please contact Connie Phillips at the church office or connie.phillips@ctrtulsa.org. There is very little cooking and set up involved. It would be fantastic if we had a total of 16 people so you would only be responsible for one meal a month (2 each for serving and clean up per night).

RECIPE ROUNDUP is a new group that will begin in September during CTR-U from 5:30-6:00. It will be a recipe tasting group. The theme for September is Mexican. Three volunteers will be needed to prepare one Mexican main course, side dish and dessert recipe. You will only be asked to prepare enough for everyone to have a 2-3 bite taste – not a whole serving. Recipes will be provided for those attending. This is your chance to try that new Pinterest recipe you’ve always wanted to try!! CAMP ACCELERATE will start Monday for youth entering K in the fall and entering 7th grade in the fall. Students must bring their lunch each day except Friday. If you haven’t registered yet, contact DCE Suzanne.

CTR-U will be suspending classes and activities until September 7. If you’d like to see a particular Bible study or class or would like to start up a group on your own, please contact DCE Suzanne.

THE STORY is a unique program providing 31 weeks of curriculum for children, teen and adult Sunday school and 31 weeks of corresponding sermons. When accompanied by reading through the five age-related books for all ages of youth and adult, the entire church can be literally “on the same page” for 31 weeks. This program will begin September 11 through April 30, 2017. Look in the narthex beginning July 24 for samples of the resources and books so you can sign up to participate on your own, as a family, or with friends in this church-wide study.  Click HERE for more information.

WORLD RELIEF SCHOOL KITS: Once again in July and August, we will gather up donations for school kits for World Relief. There are cards at the display in the narthex with the items needed. You can do complete kits or individual items. If you have questions, please contact Lynne Kollock.

BUNKO will meet at the home of Diane Morlock on August 9 at 7:00. There is a signup sheet.
SENIOR FRIENDS will go to lunch on August 14 at Leena’s Mediterranean Grill at 6746 S Memorial.
SOUTH TULSA COMMUNITY HOUSE: We are in great need of just about everything “canned,” as well as other proteins such as dried beans, peanut butter, meat based soups. We also need clean and labels removed prescription bottles which we use to distribute shampoo, body wash/soap and the like. They request that you not donate any Ramon noodles.
