CTR-U HELP NEEDED: If you are interested in helping serve or clean up after the meals during CTR-U, please contact Connie Phillips at the church office or connie.phillips@ctrtulsa.org. There is very little cooking and set up involved. It would be fantastic if we had a total of 16 people so you would only be responsible for one meal a month (2 each for serving and clean up per night).
RECIPE ROUNDUP is a new group that will begin in September during CTR-U from 5:30-6:00. It will be a recipe tasting group. The theme for September is Mexican. Three volunteers will be needed to prepare one Mexican main course, side dish and dessert recipe. You will only be asked to prepare enough for everyone to have a 2-3 bite taste – not a whole serving. Recipes will be provided for those attending. This is your chance to try that new Pinterest recipe you’ve always wanted to try!! CHURCH DIRECTORIES are ready for you to pick up. If you had your picture taken or submitted a family picture, there is a directory for you with your name on it at the south entrance. If you didn’t and would like a copy or an additional copy, please put $3.00 in a pew envelope with your name on it and one will be available for you the following Sunday.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT TO SIGN UP FOR CAMP ACCELERATE which will be held again this year at CTR during the week of July 25. This is for youth entering K in the fall and entering 7th grade in the fall. Sign up today with DCE Suzanne. The cost of the week-long camp is a non-refundable fee of $35. There will be a registration form in the bulletin or on CTR Facebook.
CTR-U will be suspending classes and activities until September 7. If you’d like to see a particular Bible study or class or would like to start up a group on your own, please contact DCE Suzanne.
SENIOR FRIENDS will go to lunch on July 10 at Red Lobster (71st & Memorial).
BUNKO will be at Teresa Nightingale’s home on July 12 at 7:00. There is a sign up.
SOUTH TULSA COMMUNITY HOUSE: We are in great need of just about everything “canned,” as well as other proteins such as dried beans, peanut butter, meat based soups. We also need clean and labels removed prescription bottles which we use to distribute shampoo, body wash/soap and the like. They request that you not donate any Ramon noodles.
